Internal Tools & Workflow Automation
Off-the-shelf software gets you most of the way, and then your team spends its days working around the last stretch in spreadsheets and chat threads. We build internal tools, admin panels, custom CRMs, and automation workflows that match the way your team really works.
Signs you've outgrown the spreadsheet
The clearest sign is the day your spreadsheet needs a permissions model. Others: two people overwrite each other's edits, approvals live in someone's inbox, nobody can say who changed a number, or the same data is typed into three different systems.
If that sounds familiar, a purpose-built tool usually pays for itself in time saved and mistakes avoided.
What we build
Admin panels for operations and support, custom CRMs (systems for tracking customers and sales) shaped around your sales process, ERP and supply chain systems (finance, stock, purchasing, and deliveries in one place), approval workflows with notifications, and back-office dashboards. Each one starts with a discovery workshop where we map how the work flows today, including the messy parts.
Integrations that remove double entry
A tool that sits on its own island just adds another place to type. We connect internal tools to the systems you already use, including Slack and email, so data moves on its own and updates reach people where they already work. Where it earns its place, we add an AI step to a workflow, such as sorting incoming requests or drafting a reply for a person to approve.
Permissions and audit logs
Internal tools often hold your most sensitive data, so we build in user permissions and activity logs from the beginning. You can see who did what, and each person sees only what their role needs.
Build or buy?
If an off-the-shelf product fits your workflow, use it. It's cheaper and someone else maintains it. Low-code builders such as Airtable or Retool are also a fair place to start, and we'll say so on the first call. Custom makes sense when your process is a real advantage, when you need real permissions and audit trails, or when stitching products together is costing you more than a single tool would.
Frequently asked questions
When should we build an internal tool instead of buying one?
Buy when an existing product fits your process. Build when your workflow is specific to your business, or when you're paying for several tools and still working around the gaps by hand.
Can the tool integrate with Slack and email?
Yes. Notifications, approvals, and updates can flow to Slack and email so your team sees them where they already work.
Will you train our team to use it?
Yes. Team training and a clean handoff are part of the project, along with documentation.
